Wild things by chloe neill6/3/2023 ![]() ![]() But there are steamy scenes, and the heroine is older than usual, so I would definitely classify it as a New Adult. At first I thought it was YA, because not only does it read like one, but the cover looks like one. ![]() There's also a rebellion, and at its heart is a man she is too scared to remember. There's a much darker storyline going on besides Emma struggling to regain her memories and life. While she's falling in love with Declan, she's also refalling in love with the man from her dreams who shares the wife brand (a mark on the skin to prove a woman is taken) and whose face she can't see. By day she's seeing doctors, learning and relearning the simplest things, while at night she is plagued with nightmares and a girl talking to her in her head warning her of what to say and what not to say. Emma wakes up from an "accident" with her loving husband, Declan, telling her she'll be OK. This is an NA/adult dystopian novel with biomedical science. ![]()
